I'm Megan Wilson. I haven't lived in Carpentersville my whole life. I was born in Florida then moved to Belvidere, Illinois when I was about three years old. I moved to Carpentersville when I was in the third grade. People look down on the people that are from Carpentersville because everybody knows that the town isn't the best place to live. They think that everyone that lives there are either associated in a gang or they don't have any money. What they don't know is that, not everybody in Carpentersville are like that. I am not even close to being in a gang. I'm not perfect at anything I do but I try my best.
After I graduate high school, I will probably being going to Harper College. I'm not sure what I want to do there but I do know that I want to go to a university and study pre-med. I really wanna go to the University of Chicago. After i graduate from medical school, I want to be a pediatrician. I don't plan on living in Illinois forever. I would love to move to California or Florida. I don't care what it takes to complete these goals, I just know that I am going to do whatever it takes to complete them.

My family has told me that nobody in my family has went to college. That is when I decided that I wanted to have a better life for myself. I want to have a very successful life and career. I love my family but i don't want to be like them in this way.
